    Meet Tori

    Tori Grafeman joins Beach Cities Yoga after playing professional volleyball in 4 countries: Denmark, Spain, England and America. Tori moved to California to pursue a beach volleyball career after competing for a D-1 indoor program in South Carolina, Winthrop University. At Winthrop Tori lead the team to 4 consecutive NCAA appearances and was voted conference MVP twice. Having always enjoying the beach game Tori decided to make the move to Manhattan Beach, the mecca of beach volleyball to pursue a beach volleyball career. She worked as a waitress in order to train in the mornings for the domestic professional tour, the AVP (Association of Volleyball Professionals). When the AVP closed down shop Tori made the decision to further her indoor career by taking a contract in Denmark sparking a 4 year long journey in Europe, playing volleyball and obtaining a masters degree. Tori started her professional indoor career in Denmark quickly followed by two seasosn in Spain, followed by playing for University of East London on scholarship while completing her masters degree in Sustainable Architecture. Tori now is exploring her entrepreneurial spirit by owning a volleyball sportswear company called Vital Sports, directs a hybrid (indoor and beach) South Bay based volleyball club bas called Pacific Soul, and is a partner and volleyball coach at Beach Cities Yoga.
